This is a red and blue knit skirt suit from the Yves Saint Laurent F/W 1985 collection. It has a sweater style jacket and faux wrap style pencil skirt, both in a black with blue, green, and red plaid.
The jacket has structured shoulders and a cropped fit with gold tone buttons with red gemstones and mini rhinestones. The cuffs of the sleeves have simple domed black buttons, (which may have been replacements for the original buttons).
The skirt has an elastic waistband with the same gold tone buttons as the front of the jacket, placed vertically along the slit opening.

Excellent condition - A few of the tiny clear rhinestones are missing from a couple of buttons.
Marked as a French size 40, we estimate this would fit medium/large.
